Impression is contemporary, romantic and luxurious without feeling overly formal. The natural wood, stone, water features and lush landscaping create a gorgeous modern Mexican aesthetic throughout the property.

If you're a pool person, this is where Impression really shines.

• Rooftop Pool — Another beautiful elevated retreat away from the larger resort.

• Main Pool — The central Impression pool with convenient access to drinks and dining.

• Beach Club Pool — An intimate pool near the ocean with a relaxed beach-club feel.

You also have access to all of the incredible lagoon, infinity and cenote-inspired pools throughout Secrets Moxché.

You could easily spend an entire vacation discovering a different pool every day.

🏖️ The Beach

This is the one area where I think expectations matter.

The beach is attractive and well maintained, and Impression has its own exclusive beach club area. But the beach isn't the primary reason I would choose this resort.

Like much of Riviera Maya, the area can experience seasonal sargassum, and this isn't the sweeping turquoise swimming beach you'll find at some resorts farther north.

If your #1 priority is the best beach possible, I may recommend somewhere else.

If your priorities are pools, food, luxury, design and service, Impression Moxché is much harder to beat.

Another advantage of staying at Impression is having the entire Secrets Moxché resort available whenever you want more activity.

I loved Impression Moxché.

For me, its biggest strength is the ability to have two completely different resort experiences in one vacation.

You can spend the day enjoying Impression's gorgeous pools, exclusive restaurants, spacious suites and personalized service, then head into Secrets Moxché whenever you want more dining, entertainment or energy.

And when you've had enough? Retreat right back to Impression.

Would I pay the premium over regular Secrets Moxché?

For a honeymoon, anniversary, milestone celebration or simply a special luxury getaway — yes.

If your perfect vacation revolves around incredible pools, excellent food, beautiful design and elevated service, Impression Moxché should absolutely be on your shortlist.
